Is the route safe for my trailer? Routes come from a free car-routing service. Rig Route flags known trailer-restricted parkways and OpenStreetMap low clearances and truck bans, but map data can be incomplete. Always obey posted height, weight and length signs.
Where do fuel prices come from? U.S. Energy Information Administration weekly state/regional averages (labelled "area avg" with the week). Station prices are shown only when OpenStreetMap lists them; otherwise "Price n/a".
How do I get the route onto CarPlay? Tap "Send to CarPlay" and pick Apple Maps or Google Maps. With your iPhone connected to CarPlay, the route opens there. You can also export a GPX file.
Widgets and Live Activities (iOS 18+): add the Rig Route widget from the Home Screen or Lock Screen editor. Starting a trip with "Send to CarPlay" shows a Live Activity with your next fuel stop; on iOS 26 it also appears on the CarPlay dashboard.
